<p>MALAYSIA has maintained its trade and economic policy while remaining on friendly terms with other countries, despite a change in government after 61 years, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today. </p> <p>The new government, he said, welcomes foreign investors, including from its closest neighbour, Thailand, and is working to streamline rules, regulations and laws to facilitate more investment into the country. </p>
