<p>GHAUTH Jasmon has been appointed the new chairman of Universiti Putra Malaysia’s board of directors.</p> <p>The Education Ministry, in a statement today, said Ghauth’s appointment was part of efforts to ensure that the target of making UPM one of the <a href="https://www.themalaysianinsight.com/s/173172">world’s 100 best universities</a> could be achieved within the next two years.</p>
