Torrential rains kill one in Greece after wildfires
AT least one person has died in eastern Greece after torrential rains hit the country, already ravaged for weeks by devastating wildfires, authorities said yesterday.
However, officials said firefighters had brought under control the blaze burning for weeks in Dadia national park.
Bukit Aman confirms investigating Muhyiddin for issuing ‘fatwa’
BUKIT Aman Criminal Investigations Department director Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the police are probing into the political ‘fatwa’ issued by Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Muhyiddin Yassin while campaigning for the Pulai parliamentary by-election in Johor last Saturday.
