Flash flood warning issued in 6 states

THE National Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre under the Irrigation and Drainage Department (DID) has issued a flash flood warning for six states from tonight.  IN PERAK, the areas at risk of being affected are Kerian (Gunong Semanggol and Beriah subdistricts and surrounding areas) while in Pahang, it involves Kuantan (Sungai Karang and surrounding areas). 

Japan to drop mask guidance, relax Covid strategy

JAPAN’s government will drop its recommendation to wear masks indoors and downgrade its medical classification for Covid-19, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said Friday. The changes, effective from early May, will classify the disease on the same level as the flu, down from its current status on a par with tuberculosis and SARS.
