SACKED Umno member Khairy Jamaluddin has denied allegations that he had kept silent when Zaid Ibrahim was dismissed from the party in 2008. Khairy told BFM’s Breakfast Grill this morning that he had spoken up about Zaid’s sacking in closed-door meetings.

KHAIRY Jamaluddin said he will not appeal against his sacking from Umno last Friday. “There is no point in appealing. I was unilaterally dismissed from the party,” he said in a radio interview with BFM this morning.
