Toyota top-selling automaker for third year running
JAPAN’S Toyota was the world’s top-selling automaker in 2022, retaining its lead over German rival Volkswagen for the third year, company data showed today. Despite the chip shortage and Covid-related supply chain disruption, Toyota and its subsidiaries sold nearly 10.5 million vehicles last year, around the same as in 2021.
15% increase in leprosy cases in Malaysia last year
MALAYSIA recorded a 15.5% increase in new leprosy cases last year with 164 cases, from 142 in 2021, Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa said. Malaysia had 181 leprosy cases in 2020.
