Flood evacuee tally lower in 2 states this afternoon

THE number of flood evacuees in Sabah and Johor dropped from 1,735 to 1,573 people this afternoon. IN SABAH, the number of flood victims decreased to 642 people from 192 families, who were evacuated to 14 temporary relief centres (TRCs), compared with the 758 people from 220 families reported this morning.

Negri Sembilan MB suggests June 1 to dissolve assembly

Amanah to hold talks with BN on state polls

THE top leadership of Amanah will hold discussions with Barisan Nasional (BN) on matters related to the six state elections.  Amanah communications director Khalid Samad said the distribution of seats and candidates are among the issues to be discussed, adding that these have yet to be finalised.

PRIME Minister Anwar Ibrahim today unveiled the logo for Malaysia Madani – a concept he introduced as an effort to drive and restore Malaysia’s dignity and glory in the global arena.
