UK unemployment stable but inflation hits wages again

BRITISH unemployment held close to its historical low but wages continue to be outstripped by rampant inflation, official data showed today.  The unemployment rate was unchanged at 3.7% in the three months to the end of December compared with the three months to the end of November, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
