Anwar issues 2nd letter of demand to Pendang MP over libellous remarks

ANWAR Ibrahim once again sent a letter of demand to Pendang MP Awang Solahuddin Hashim, seeking an unconditional apology over the libellous statement he made against the prime minister at the Parliament lobby on February 21. Anwar, 75, who is also Pakatan Harapan chairman, filed the notice through Messrs S.N. Nair & Partners today.

National Scam Response Centre to receive RM10 million

THE recently established National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) has been provided with RM10 million to strengthen its role in combatting online fraud and scams. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who is also the finance minister, said that for 2022 alone, more than 25,000 crimes were recorded with losses totalling RM850 million.

N. Korea fires more missiles after Seoul-Washington nuclear drill

NORTH Korea said Friday it had fired cruise missiles and claimed that ramped-up United States-South Korean military drills “can be regarded as a declaration of war”.  It came after the two allies conducted a tabletop exercise at the Pentagon focused on responses to a nuclear attack by Pyongyang.
