2 killed, 10 wounded in eastern Ukraine

RUSSIAN strikes killed two people and wounded 10 in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk yesterday, Donetsk Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said, accusing Moscow of using cluster bombs in the attack. Kyrylenko said on his official Telegram channel that Russian forces had targeted a park and damaged “a dozen residential buildings”, and fired “cluster munitions”. 

MOE distributing 50,000 laptops to schools

THE Education Ministry (MOE) is distributing 50,000 laptops to all schools nationwide to facilitate learning using digital textbooks.  Its director-general Pkharuddin Ghazali said the ministry is researching a suitable formula to distribute the supplies so every school receives them. 

Wan Rosdy, Khaled, Johari declared new Umno veeps

PAHANG Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, Higher Education Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin and Titiwangsa MP Johari Abdul Ghani have officially been announced as the new Umno vice-presidents for the 2023-2026 term. Umno election committee chairman Shahrir Abdul Samad made the announcement at Menara Dato Onn today.
