THE junta in Burkina Faso today announced the suspension of all broadcasts by the France 24 news channel in the west African country after it aired an interview with the head of Al-Qaeda in North Africa. Burkina Faso is battling a jihadist insurgency that spilled over from neighbouring Mali in 2015.
