Indian national charged with murdering pensioner
AN Indian national was charged in the Ayer Keroh magistrate’s court today with murdering a pensioner last month. S. Logamurugan, 27, together with another person still at large, was charged with murdering Sa’adon Sahat, 57, behind a three-storey building on Jalan PPM 4, Plaza Pandan Malim, between 2.44am and 3.10am last February 27.

Economists expect US recession, above-target inflation this year
THE United States will likely enter a recession this year and face high inflation well into 2024, a majority of economists predicted in their response to a semiannual survey. More than two-thirds of respondents to the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) Policy Survey also see inflation remaining above 4% at the end of this year.
