Negri Sembilan Umno, Pakatan hold early seat talks

NEGRI Sembilan Umno held an early discussion with the state’s Pakatan Harapan (PH) to seek an understanding in facing the upcoming state elections, especially concerning seat distribution.  State Umno liaison committee chairman Jalaluddin Alias said this was to prevent clashes between the two groups, and ensure both pacts can secure all 36 state seats.

‘Monster’ job to recover crashed Dutch train

DUTCH authorities face a “monster” task to recover a crashed passenger train which will require building a bridge over a canal, rail officials said today. The crash near The Hague yesterday, which killed one person and injured 30 others, left one double-decker carriage lying in a field and three others on or near the tracks.
