Umno’s unilateral moves won’t affect unity govt, say PKR grassroots

RECENT moves by Umno, including making political appointments and changing the Malacca chief minister, do not affect the unity government led by Anwar Ibrahim, PKR grassroots saod. They said although Umno president and Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s actions attracted public criticism, those moves have no bearing on how the federal government is run.

RESCUE workers in the French Mediterranean city of Marseille were scrambling to find eight people unaccounted for yesterday after an apartment building collapsed following a major explosion, officials said.
