JAPAN is preparing to evacuate its citizens from Sudan, the government said today, becoming the first foreign nation to pull citizens from the conflict-hit country. Violence between the Sudanese army and paramilitaries has killed around 200 people since a weeks-long power struggle erupted into deadly battles on Saturday.
6 areas in Malaysia experience heatwave
SIX areas in the country, Kuala Lumpur, Jeli (Kelantan), Jempol (Negri Sembilan), Betong, Sibu and Marudi in Sarawak, are in the grip of a heatwave, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia). Delivery rider charged over motorcycle blaze at KLCC
