Fahmi proud of Malaysia’s press freedom index ranking

COMMUNICATIONS and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil has described Malaysia’s position in the World Press Freedom Index 2022, released by Reporters Without Borders (RSF) as a proud achievement for the country. In a Facebook post, Fahmi said this will encourage the government to continue upholding media freedom in Malaysia.

2 sisters drown during family beach outing

A FAMILY’S outing turned into a tragedy when two sisters drowned in the waters at Tanjung Buloh beach in Tanjung Sedili, Kota Tinggi this afternoon. Sebana Cove fire and rescue station head Mohd Khairul Sufian Dahari said the two were identified as Siti Nursalina Johari, 10, and Siti Rabiah Johari, 13.
