Russian prosecutor wants Roizman fined over Ukraine comments

RUSSIAN prosecutors today recommended a fine for prominent Kremlin critic Yevgeny Roizman, on trial in the central city of Yekaterinburg for comments about the Ukraine conflict.   The prosecutor urged the judge to “find Yevgeny Roizman guilty and impose a fine of ₽260,000 (RM15,600)” over charges of discrediting the Russian military, according to Russian news agencies.

Dengue cases up 14.6% last week

THE number of dengue fever cases reported in the 19th Epidemiological Week (ME), from May 7 to 13, increased by 14.6% to 2,242 cases compared to 1,956 cases in the previous week.
