Search for missing climber resumes

EFFORTS to locate missing Malaysia Everest 2023 (ME2023) climber Muhammad Hawari Hashim, 33, have resumed in earnest. National mountaineer Tiong Ling Yang said his party communicated with mountain guides yesterday to continue the search and rescue (SAR) operation by land today.

Orang Asli in Kelantan face water woes

A GUITAR smashed on stage by Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain sold for nearly US$600,000 (RM2.724 million), several times its original estimate, an auction house said yesterday.   The busted black Fender Stratocaster has been put back together, but is no longer playable, Kody Frederick of Julien’s Auctions told AFP earlier this month.
