FORCED labour is no longer a problem in the country’s palm oil industry following the implementation of various measures by the government, including mandatory Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil Certification (MSPO), from January 1.
Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali said the MSPO, among others, barred industry players from using forced labour.
