Deutsche Bank fined US$150 million for ties to sex offender Epstein

FINANCIAL regulators in New York said today they have fined Deutsche Bank US$150 million (RM641 million) for failing to raise red flags on accounts held by tycoon sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The fine marked the first time a financial institution has been penalised for its dealings with the late financier, said the New York Department of Financial Services (DFS), an agency of the state government.
