Govt mulls introduction of gig workforce in F&B sector to ease economic burdens, says Rafizi

PUTRAJAYA is studying several measures to help food traders and restaurant operators cope with economic challenges, Rafizi Ramli said today. 

With increasing costs, such as the implementation of the RM1,500 minimum wage, the economy minister said the government is looking at ways to reduce burdens in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry as well as give the country’s economy and job market a boost.
