AMANAH Youth chief Mohd Hasbie Muda was given a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) by the Magistrate’s Court in Kuala Lumpur, today, on a charge of organising a protest gathering over the rising prices of goods without a permit in July last year.
His lawyer, Muhammad Faiz Fadzil, told reporters that the decision was made by Magistrate Wong Chai Sia after the prosecution informed the court that they had received instructions from the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) to withdraw the charge against Hasbie, 35, who is also a Senator.
