THERE are still many motorists driving with a high blood alcohol content level despite the Road Transport (Amendment) Act 2020 allowing heavier penalties on offenders, said Johor police chief Ayob Khan Myidin Pitchay.
“Just now (we found) a driver’s reading at over 200mg at the first stop of the operation. What is allowed is 50mg in 100ml of blood. How much did he drink? It was only 11pm just now, not even 2am yet,” he said early this morning on Ops Mabuk in Johor Baru.
