Malaysia committed to preserving forests, says Fadillah

MALAYSIA will continue to be committed to forest preservation for the protection of human health because they are the main source of clean water and air, and a major carbon absorber, Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof said.

In a Facebook post today, Fadhilah, who is also the minister of plantation industries and commodities, said the ministry aims to increase awareness about the importance of timber in a sustainable world through forest conservation and biodiversity.
