Ministry expects 48,000 women to benefit from breast, cervical screening

A TOTAL of 48,000 high-risk women are expected to benefit from subsidised mammogram tests and cervical cancer screening provided by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, Deputy Minister Aiman Athirah Sabu told parliament today.

She said a sum of RM6 million has been allocated for mammogram test subsidies in Budget 2023, while RM5.5 million was allocated for cervical cancer screening subsidies.
