RMAF airlifts 3 women in labour out of Felda Selancar

THREE high-risk expectant mothers – in the first stage of labour and cut off from emergency medical care due to a road collapse in Felda Selancar, Rompin – were successfully airlifted to hospital by the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) yesterday.

Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the three women are now receiving treatment at Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA) maternity ward in Kuantan, after being transferred by ambulance to the hospital at 8.33pm, from the nearby RMAF base.
