Selangor assemblyman fails to attend sittings for 6 months, seat declared vacant by speaker

 THE Batang Kali seat in the Selangor legislative assembly has been declared vacant by speaker Ng Suee Lim.

In a statement, the assembly speaker said incumbent Harumaini Omar has not attended the assembly for more than six months.
