THE trio dips platter with Greek melitzanosalata, tzatziki and hummus set the tone for our Mediterranean lunch at Marinero in LaLaport, Kuala Lumpur. The dips with pita bread made an excellent starter for the five of us.
I liked best the roasted, smoky eggplant combined with garlic, parsley, red onions, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil in the melitzanosalata dip and the tzatziki was tangy with lemon juice and Greek yoghurt and refreshing with cucumber strips in it.
