UMNO would cease any kind of political cooperation if the position of Islam and the party’s struggle for Malay rights was compromised, Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.
The Umno president said despite assurances being made very often, certain parties continued to push the narrative that the position of Malays and Islam were threatened.
