ROGER Ng, the former Goldman Sachs banker found guilty of helping to defraud 1MDB, has asked a New York court for mercy in anticipation of his sentencing next month, Reuters reported today.
Ng, who headed Goldman’s investment banking division in Malaysia, is appealing to the court to sentence him to the six months of jail time he has already served.
