Volvo Cars profit falls despite higher sales
SWEDEN’s Volvo Cars today reported a drop in its first-quarter profits, even as its revenue grew, with the automaker saying it was looking for areas to cut costs. Like other automakers, Volvo Cars has faced supply chain problems and higher costs amid soaring inflation.
Selangor water authority detects diesel pollution in Sungai Gong
THE Selangor Water Management Authority (Luas) has detected and dealt with odour pollution believed to be from diesel in Sungai Gong, yesterday. State Tourism, Environment, Green Technology and Orang Asli Affairs Committee chairman Hee Loy Sian said the pollution was detected by the Luas Quick Squad at 1.30pm.
