AUTHORITIES in PAHANG report the number of flood evacuees increased sharply overnight to 4,230 people, compared with 1,360 people yesterday evening.
The committee said 4,120 people in Kuantan were sheltering in 19 relief centres, with the remaining 110 people in four centres in Pekan.
