AMMAR Abd Ghapar has been appointed as the new director-general of the Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board (Tourism Malaysia), effective April 12.
Tourism Malaysia, in a statement, said that Ammar, who was previously the senior director of Tourism Malaysia’s International Promotion Division (Americas, Europe and Oceania), is replacing Zainuddin Abdul Wahab who retired on April 10.
