MALAYSIA’S collaboration with electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Tesla will support the country’s ambition to become a regional green technology hub, Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz said.
In a discussion with the Tesla Malaysia delegation yesterday, the minister said the US carmaker has reiterated its commitment to the local ecosystem by involving nine Malaysian companies in developing EV charging infrastructure. Tesla will also collaborate with local higher education institutions for knowledge transfer and human capital development.
