A 25-YEAR-OLD university student was today detained by the Negri Sembilan Islamic authorities over his role as a judge in the Tun Razak Cup 2019 debate tournament, where controversial topics about Islam were among the motions given to students to debate.
The student was not named, but his arrest by the Negri Sembilan Islamic Religious Affairs Department (JHEAINS) was confirmed to the New Straits Times.
