THE US has been awarded ownership of a North Korean cargo vessel that was seized for violating international sanctions, said the Justice Department.
Wise Honest – the first North Korean ship to be seized by the US for sanctions violations – was caught carrying a US$3 million (RM12.55 million) shipment of coal in Indonesian waters last year, and later handed over to the US.
